First post because my 29th birthday was this past Tuesday and it’s time for another trip to celebrate. I have a good feeling about 29 and maybe it’s induced by this past year. After a year of quarantining, staying pretty much in one place (sprinkled with a few road trips), and freshly vaxxed, it’s time for the next adventure. Thanks 2020!
No time like the present to document the last year in my 20s. I’m not the most eloquent traveler, but I always manage to have fun or someone else is planning it for me (shoutout to those friends). Maybe you’ll want do this trip or you’ll learn you never want to do this…
Anyway, in case you’re interested, I’m about to embark on a month long plane/train/bus journey up the East Coast to visit friends, family, and new cities, while working remotely. I’ve always thought it would be cool to live in the Northeast one day, but who knows, Austin is still the best city to me.

The unofficial official itinerary: Atlanta -> Savannah -> Charleston -> DC -> Raleigh -> Winston-Salem -> Asheville -> Portland (ME) -> Bar Harbor -> Boston -> NYC -> ??? -> Home to ATX

Unsure what I’ll do after NYC, but maybe one more city before heading back home! The trip is still very much unwritten, so TBD.
To my dearest friends, this post is for you! I need to figure out this whole wordpress thing, but at least this is a start and that’s all that really matters, right? Let’s be real, I was a math major.. writing is not my expertise, but the goal is always to improve in something!
Currently writing to you from the (newish) Delta Sky Club at Austin Bergstrom Airport waiting for my flight to Atlanta. Ugh, I love Delta so much and am so glad travel is back. For my first stop, it’s spending Memorial Weekend with my family to see my niece graduate from high school. In additon to that, I get to see my old college friend and meet her baby girl!
Catch ya when I land!
